With a long history of management in both large and small entities, Brendan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Allied Group. Over the past fifteen years he has been involved in the sales and management of devices and service to the Life Science and Health Care Market. For Brendan, effective communication and excellent service is essential to managing a successful business.
Previous roles, including his time as Senior Business Manager at Device Technologies Australia, have helped develop Brendan’s understanding of the power of product integrity. This is why all products and services delivered by Allied Group are market specific, meet customers’ needs, and are always of the highest industry standard.
Rounding out his General Manager skill set is a bachelor degree and a commitment to continuous study in a variety of management and commercial courses.
Marc La Pira grew up in Melbourne, Australia and graduated from humble courses at Melbourne University and RMIT in the fields of Science and Nursing.
He spent a number of years working agency shifts through the busiest Intensive Care Units of Melbourne whilst simultaneously absorbing valuable life tools, which he recognises as the fundamentals of fallibility and how he responds today.
At the ripe old age of twenty-four he knew he found his calling card when he was hired in a sales position with Australia’s largest privately owned medical sales company. His passion for finding a solution to a problem seemed a natural fit. Applying true entrepreneurial spirit, he teamed up with his original mentor, Brendan Edwards, and now leads the sales division of Allied Group.
Support from family and friends invariably allow Marc time to nurture his passions in fitness, research, innovation and recognising the importance of relationships… with the key ingredient being humour!
